QualiREG network organizes from November 28 to December 2, 2016 at the University of Reunion, Saint Pierre IUT in the Tech South Park, the fifth edition of the Indian Ocean Agro-Food meeting with the main topic : "Quality and innovation for development of agri-food sectors in the Indian ocean"
The network organized scientific meetings since 2011. They offer unique opportunities to facilitate communication and collaboration between scientists and professionals of the agri-food sector. The purpose of the event is to browse the current research projects, to promote innovations and know-how in the Indian Ocean region, to schedule future cooperation programs and to establish new collaborations.
During, the week workshops, trainings, scientific and technical conferences, Roundtables and B to B meetings will be organized with the key objective of networking research’s and companies’ worlds. The meeting will focus on three main topics: (i) Valuation of regional foodstuffs to High-Valued Products, (ii) Innovations for agri-food branches and companies, (iii) Food Safety.
More than 150 participants are expected, among them professionals, institution representatives, students and young researchers. The meeting will be held in French languages but communications in English are welcome.
