A scientific cooperation network in the Indian Ocean

QualiREG is the network of actors of the Indian Ocean involved in research, development and innovation for the quality of agri-food chains.

The QualiREG network aims to improve and enhance the quality of food in the Indian Ocean. Its ambition is to boost research for the quality of agri-food chains, to bring out innovations in the agri-food sector, to inform and protect consumers about health hazards, and to support small businesses and operators in terms of quality of their products.

Active since 2010, the QualiREG network has nearly 50 members in Réunion, Madagascar, Mauritius (and Rodrigues), Comoros, Mayotte, Seychelles, South Africa and mainland France. Among these institutions, there are research centers, laboratories, universities, enterprises, NGOs, producer organizations, etc.
