QualiREG network made food quality a basis for enhancing food security in the Indian Ocean and increase the contribution of the agricultural sector to the economic development of the region.

Our areas of intervention
The 2015-2020 strategic plan of the QualiREG network focuses on the following four areas of intervention:
- Improving agri-food products: Placing innovation and optimizing practices at the heart of products valorization
- Food, health and well-being: Promoting active molecules from the Indian Ocean's biodiversity for food and health purposes
- Food safety and quality control: Informing and protecting consumers from food-related health hazards
- Support to the sectors by labelling systems and collective dynamics: To accompany the actors of the agri-food chains of the Indian Ocean in enhancing the value of their products
