Danielle Aurore Doll RAKOTO

Danielle Rakoto is a full professor of fundamental and applied biochemistry, molecular biology and toxicology at the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Antananarivo.

After obtaining a DEA in 1984 and having held vacations since 1982 at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Antananarivo, she was recruited there in 1985 as an assistant teacher-researcher. She also taught at the University of Moroni, Comoros, in 2009 and 2010.
Danielle Rakoto supervises and co-supervises master's students, doctoral students and HDR candidates, on various research themes including infection control and pest control and food quality.
In addition, having significant communication skills, she took part in upgrading students from the Faculty of Science in scientific French from 1990 to 2013 and trained trainers in science didactics and communication at the Université Nord. Madagascar from 1995 to 1996.
Very active on various platforms and networks, including QualiREG, she was involved in several national and international scientific projects, such as the "AFTER" project, from 2010 to 2014, which aims to study traditional African products and develop them locally. and in European markets.
Danielle Rakoto was also head of the department of fundamental and applied biochemistry from 2010 to 2013 and responsible for the biochemistry license course from 2013 to 2017. Currently, she heads the doctoral school of life and environmental sciences where she is head of the biodiversity and health doctoral host team since 2017.
She has published no less than thirty articles in specialized scientific journals and presented more than twenty oral and poster communications, as well as a member of scientific committees of national and international conferences and congresses.
