International Symposium on Cocoa Research (ISCR) 2021

Co-organized by the International Cocoa Organization (ICCO) and CIRAD, the second edition of the International Symposium on Cocoa Research will be held from September 27 to 29, 2021 in Montpellier.

The International Cocoa Research Symposium is organized with the aim of providing a forum for the global cocoa research community. As such, experts from around the world will examine and debate the latest research innovations aimed at accelerating the development of the world cocoa economy.
This year, the theme of the symposium will focus on innovations in support of market development and the promotion of sustainable cocoa farming to improve farmer incomes. It will be structured in three sessions, where researchers will present the results of their work on the following topics:
Theme 01: Cocoa farming, innovative approaches and practices for sustainable production
Theme 02: Sustainable cocoa and climate change: an approach focused on mitigation and adaptation
Theme 03: Innovations in support of cocoa processing and market development
