One Health, “One Health”, is a global strategy aimed at developing interdisciplinary collaborations for human, animal and environmental health. It promotes an integrated, systemic and unified approach to health at the local, national and global scales, in order to better face emerging diseases with pandemic risk, but also to adapt to present and future environmental impacts.
Although this movement is spreading, literature in French remains scarce. Translated from English, coordinated by eminent epidemiologists and based on a large panel of scientific approaches rarely united around health, this book traces the origins of the concept and presents practical content on methodological tools, data collection. data, monitoring techniques and study designs. It combines research and practice in one volume and is a unique reference for global health.
